Item: RD3

RD3 is a Bevel bit with a French link centre.

This type of bit is in the Snaffle category of bit but has more leverage to encourage flexion to help the horse work from the hindquarters to gain a higher raised neck and to hold the head slightly to its best side so the hind legs can be correctly placed under, thus softening the poll area giving a calming effect. This helps greatly on doing arena work where the horse needs to employ flexion and bend and keep the centre of gravity.

This bit is available with a standard jointed centre or a lozenge centre, available in 6.5", 7" and 7.5".
